«To be or not to be? » - The question to our civilization.
In the message of Dmitriy Valovoi to Pope Francis the First «To be or not to be? (December, 2013)- The question to our civilization.» There is a range of sensational statements. Common reasons of the collapse of the Soviet Union the author considers to be far-fetched and declares: « The mortal wound was given by the Soviet government». Besides he proves that nowadays the presidents of the states, oligarchs and scientists are causing the mortal wound to our civilization.
You have determined care of the poor to be the main direction of your activities. It`s the most noble deed. But there are many liberal dogma-barriers on its way. The better you know them, the more chances exist to overcome these dogma-barriers. I`ll be very glad, if my 60 years` experience on this field can be useful.
«Care of the poor! » was the goal of appearance of Christianity. It censured «Emperors-beasts» and rich grandees. Christians appealed to destroy slavery and «establish a thousand years` kingdom of oppressed». But when the Pope Konstantin declared Christianity to be the official state religion, the church hierarchies betrayed Christianity concepts and protected slavery till «the last bullet». After the collapse of the Roman Empire the bishop Augustine prepared the tractate in which he declared the collapse of the Roman Empire to be God`s punishment for disbelief and called to beg the forgiveness for sins.
As a result the leaders of Christianity managed to establish «Two thousand years` kingdom of oppressors». During 2000 years the names of oppressors have changed repeatedly, but the methods of oppression excelled and dignified. Today the form of oppression is called «democracy», and oppressors are called oligarchs. The civilization of our era can be compared with a great sect, which the leaders-churchmen drove into the cave which is called «The Earth» and declared:
-The Earth is the navel of the universe. The Sun and stars go round the Earth. It was created by the God six thousand years ago. He located paradise and hell on the heaven. Who bears hardships submissively, predetermined him by fate, he will go to heaven for eternal bliss, but who begins repining, whooping things up, he will go to hell for eternal martyrdom.
During the first centuries oppression in the cave ran relatively quietly. But in the second millennium the dissident movement developed more actively, expressing itself in a modern way. Most of them were not only repining, but they were leaving the cave. The Great socialist revolution in Russia in 1917 was the most powerful among them.
As the result of the revolution «the kingdom of oppressed» was formed, in which the ideas of Christianity were realized. Oppressors of the whole world with the blessing of churchmen organized armed intervention onto the territory of the young Soviet Republic with the participation of 14 greatest capitalistic states, including the USA, England, France, Japan. But the republic repulsed all external and internal attacks and started peaceful development.
«The kingdom of oppressed» promoted the liquidation of the colonial system and the rise of prosperity of wage-workers in the twentieth century actively. Before the revolution in capitalistic countries the working day lasted 12-14 hours. Wages were scanty and working and life conditions were hard. The wage fund in the structure GNP in different countries fluctuated from 27 to 32%.
In the USSR the working day was reduced to 8 hours. Annual holidays and medical sick-leave certificates were brought in; there were no homeless, beggars and unemployed. The salary fund in GNP put together 75%. Capitalistic countries had to reduce the working day, to increase payments – put in holidays and other social measures. As a result specific weight of salary in GNP doubled. The oppressors came to the conclusion: it`s better to lose the half of the excess profit than the whole fortune. It`s logical.
Quite logical is also the negative attitude of the churchmen and oppressors to the kingdom of oppressed. In appraisal of this relationship it`s difficult not to agree with the conclusion of the world famous scientist, the descendant of Russian princes N.A. Berdyayev. Nickolay Alexandrovich had a negative attitude to the Soviet authorities and was expelled abroad as a bourgeois scientist. It`s hard to suspect him of the liking for communists. Besides he truly believed in God. In Paris Berdyayev published philosophical and religious magazine «The way». Being an independent emigrant and an honest scientist he wrote in 1937:
«Communists are not the ones who are guilty in oppression and persecution of Christianity. In this process Christians must be not only prosecutors but also repentants. Christian doctrine condemns wealth and the rich, denies property, claims equality of all people in front of the God. Saint Vasily the Great and also Saint John Chrysostom have such harsh judgments about social untrue connected with wealth and property, that Proudhon and Marx turn pale in front of them. Chrysostom was a perfect communist, though it was not capitalistic communism, not of an industrial era. With great reason we can affirm that communism has Christian sources. But during development of Christianity the betrayal of Christ`s covenants took place and the church turned into the weapon in order to support ruling classes, began to justify existing evil and injustice. Suffering and restraint were accepted for salvation of the soul, and it was used mainly to the oppressed and the doomed, but surprisingly not to the oppressors and violators».
Nowadays the reasons of the collapse of the Soviet Union are spoken and written much. The common denominator for them is the discredit of the kingdom of oppressed. Communism couldn`t sustain competition with liberalism. Is it so?
It is known that conspirators gave J. Ceasar 23 wounds, but the only one was mortal, and many of them were far-fetched. The mortal wound to the USSR was given by the Soviet government, although it sounds paradoxically. I published the conclusion already in the 70-s of the last century:
«If we don`t change the system of economic management, the national economy will be collapsed in 90-s! We won`t live till 2000». When Gorbachyov started acceleration, I criticized him. In 3 days my article was censured at Politburo CC CPSS.
I tried to prevent the mortal wound to the Soviet Union for 40 years. I told about it in details, using official documents in my new book «The Reforms». Now it`s history. But it has great practical meaning. The fact is that nowadays according to the soviet scenario, presidents of the states, oligarchs, and scientists are given mortal wound to our civilization. Alisher Navoiy is recollected unintentionally:
«I`ll tell you the following:
Among degenerates, living on the Earth, especially three kinds are nasty –
A brainless shah, a stingy rich man, a learned man, susceptible to money.»
The following principle dominated in the «cave» - «All wealth is created by the God». The classics of the political economy proved that the source of wealth is productive labor, that is the labor, that creates products and services. Adam Smith wrote:
«If a rich man hires productive workers, he becomes richer, if he hires servants, he becomes poor. The prince with all his judicial officials, officers, army and fleet represent non-productive workers. They are servants and they are kept for a part of the annual labor product of the rest of population. Some of the most serious and the most important and also the most irresponsible professions belong to the same category(priests, lawyers, doctors, writers of any kind, actors, clowns, musicians, opera singers, dancers and others.»
Appearance of great possibilities of the fast enrichment at the expense of the financial swindle led to the flow-out of the capital from real economy to the speculative field. How should this process be hidden, be disguised?
Scientists-liberals, who are susceptible to money denied studies of the classics about productive labor and realized the idea of D.B. Clark that «all kinds of labor are of a productive character». The higher are the incomes, the more productive is the labor. As a result according to the methods of liberals-neoclassics, in the structure GNP of the USA specific gravity of the village puts together only 1.5%, but finances, insurance and operations with immovable property, where benefits are not created at all is 46,5%. Specific gravity of industry has reduced more than three times, comparing with 1950. But «investments» of lawyers, financiers, actors, the Pentagon, FBI and other «producers» recovered outflow of capital into the speculative field with interest. Nowadays in real sector in the USA only 25,5% are made.
Any head of the state in a burst of good impulses obtains the rise of GNP, not suspecting that while the dynamics of the macroeconomics is measured in a neoclassical way, it forces out economy by the chrematistics. Chrematistics (from Greek – wealth, enrichment )as the antipode to economy Aristotle brought in scientific revolution. He wrote «Chrematistics is conducted for accumulation of wealth in any way. In trading activity everybody is anxious for increase his capitals till endlessness».
Earlier capitalists-employers for decades increased their wealth at the expense of the production and realization of goods. Now oligarchs-chrematicians are gathering wealth in a way of speculation instantly.
George Soros caused to fall English pound and «earned» a billion and two hundred million dollars. Soros compares with skill speculations on the financial markets with a great rushing sphere, which destroys national economies on its way. Under chrematistics domination owners of factories and plants had to subsidize them at the expense of incomes, got from financial speculations. The colours and the motor was Detroit, which chrematistics turned into a ghost town. But how many ghost cities and ghost plants are in the world? Whether there will be! The colours of chrematistics are Las Vegas.
During my visit of Poland at the beginning of the 60-s, my friends and colleagues recommended meeting an interesting priest in Krakow. He was Carol Voityla. He discovered Copernicus for me as an outstanding scientist of his time. In 1526 in «Tractate about coining money» Copernicus wrote:
Among the great variety of miseries, as the result of which kingdoms, princedoms and republics go to collapse, the strongest are four – discords, death-rate, bad crop capacity, devaluation. The first three are so obvious, that everybody realizes them. The fourth becomes aware among few people, reasoning deeply, because it strikes and destroys the state not immediately and roughly, but slowly and hidden.
I ask to pay attention to the fact, that danger of money devaluation was seen by Copernicus two centuries before appearance of banknotes. At that time devaluation came to substitution of gold by cheap composing metals and reduction of weight, marked on coins.
Three centuries ago banknotes were released as representatives of gold in circulation. Liquidation of the golden standard last century means essentially liquidation of money. After abolition of «The golden standard» the flow of banknotes, named money is steadily increasing. Floating rates are speculations and machinations in one extensible bottle. At financial markets 5 trillion dollars are scrolled. It`s almost the third of the annual volume of world trade. But only one or two per cent of the currency are supplied by real flow of goods and services. The rest is swindling. It`s not economy any more. It`s already infinite domination of chrematistics, which opened all locks for pumping full of soap bubbles. «Explosions» of banks-bubbles and corporations-bubbles are the reason of financial and economic crisis. But it`s only the beginning, soon the consequences will appear – «explosions» of states-bubbles!
John Paul the second asked for forgiveness for sins for 2000 years on the Eve of the new millennium during the special divine service on behalf of the Universal church. Many of them, including «social and economic injustice» are committed and aggravated.
Unlimited enrichment of more and more narrow sections of public has reached the heights beyond the clouds. In the special talk of the UNO the following information is declared: three richest men in the world own the funds, which excel the combined GDP of the poorest countries, the combined wealth of 200 richest people is more than incomes of 41% of the world population. The international society of struggle against poverty «Oxfam» reports that in 2012 the income of 100 richest oligarchs puts together 240 billion dollars. It`s two times more than for liquidation of poverty.
The thirst of enrichment leads to destruction of nature and worsening of life conditions on the Earth. If The Second world war had been in the twenty-first century, the main casualties would have been because of thirst and poisoning. All troops drank water from nearest ponds. During the blockade of Leningrad people drank water from the Neva. But all main ponds are poisoned after half of the century. It`s even prohibited to swim in the most of them. In the hotel of New-York I was warned not to drink tap water. It was warned not to drink tap water even in the bus from the airport to Antalya in Turkey. Even tap water needs extra cleaning and boiling. According to the information given by the UNO three billion of the population won`t have water suitable for consumption by 2015. What will be in half of the century under the current paradigm of development? But a human body consists of water of 80%. Can a firm house be built of the rotten wood? It`s a pity there is such an alarm situation not only with water.
Economic laws leave no doubt that the domination of chrematicians even at the first half of the twenty-first century will lead to the crash of the world economy which finally can be the end of our civilization.
But taking into account destructions of the nature the scientists of applied science make alarm predictions. The president of The International independent ecological and political university, the academician of Russian academy of science N. N. Moiseyev came to the conclusion:
«If in the nearest future the mankind doesn`t change its behavior to the attitude to the nature fundamentally in general scale and to the relationship on the state level, some ecological conditions can be so awful, that the mankind cannot exist by the middle of the twenty- first century. It can happen in 50 years».
Such alarm predictions were made by the famous English scientist, the royal astronaut Martin Rees in his book «Our last century».
Strong condemnation by the Universal church, concentration of national wealth in the hands of more and more narrow group of people and further destruction of nature will assist the prevention of the catastrophe of our civilization.
When I published the conclusion of the USSR collapse, the Nobel Prize laureate V.V. Leontiyev called me «The Russian Nostradamus». After horoscopes became popular in Russia, this title was used by many economists and journalists. The President of The Academy of labor and social relationship N.N. Gritsenko in the foreword to my book «The reform» called me «the Russian Nostradamus», but the review to this book the daily « The University messenger» entitled «The Russian Nostradamus: liberalism crash!».
